Proposed development of the Oxford Place Centre

The Leeds Methodist District Synod has agreed that consideration be given to exploring alternative ways of ensuring the financial viability of the building currently known as the Oxford Place Centre.

It is expected that by the Summer of 2018 the building will no longer be available to be used as at present.

This means that by the end of July 2018

  • all organisations renting office space in the building will have left
  • rooms will no longer be available for hire
  • the two churches will have ceased to meet in the building
  • the café will have closed
The Leeds Methodist Mission (a registered charity No: 1138731) will have a new deacon (from 1st September 2017) and continue its work in the city centre.

Every effort will be made to keep this web site up-to-date during this period of change. However, if you need further information please consult the contacts page.
